gasworld’s fourth conference in the region focused on the industrial gas markets, what is driving growth, what structural changes are taking place following current mergers and acquisitions, exploring emerging trends and the opportunities they provide.
Under the theme of Business Models & Tools for Success, the conference provided additional insight on the way technology and business models are shifting in our industry, such as the use of digitisation and automation and the emergence of the clean energy transition, in which industrial gas companies and equipment suppliers can be central to driving a successful development.
The conference was held at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel in Malaysia from 3rd – 5th December. The Asia-Pacific Industrial Gas Conference 2018 tackled many of the topics you are talking about within your company these days. We aimed to address the issues and subjects through a selection of experienced and very knowledgeable speakers and by running a series of pointed panel sessions, allowing insightful debate and engaging networking opportunities.
The event provided a striking balance between the traditional growth drivers that are thriving in these younger economies, and the newer, inescapable trends that are driving change globally.
As well as holding the conference, we continued to inform and educate delegates through our exhibition booth programme in which companies share with you their latest technologies and practices. This also provided a platform to engage in meaningful networking opportunities.
